The philately collection at the LBJ Library consists of stamps, envelopes, first day covers, and commemorative sets. International Heads of State gifted many foreign stamps to the collection, while LBJ’s domestic admirers gifted United States stamps; including postcards noting historic events and Lady Bird Johnson’s Beautification of America stamps.
