Physical DescriptionPorcelain sculpture of a thrush singing over azalea flowers and autumn leaves.
Historical NoteEdward M. Boehm was an American sculptor who made porcelain figures of birds and other animals. He presented this sculpture to Mrs. Johnson in the White House on May 1, 1967 to acknowledge her efforts on behalf of the American Cancer Society.
