Physical DescriptionOpal sculpture of a ram.
Historical NoteThis opal ram was a gift from the Engelhard family. Charles W. Engelhard Sr. founded the Engelhard mining company in 1902. His son, Charles W. Engelhard Jr. grew the company and befriended politicians such as Lyndon Johnson. The sculpture was purchased in Australia, which is the world's largest opal producer.
