Physical DescriptionChinese porcelain octagonal tureen (A) with lid (B). Coat of arms with four deer in the center surrounded by pink, purple, and orange floral design.
Historical NoteThis item was a gift from the Engelhard family. Charles W. Engelhard Sr. founded the Engelhard mining company in 1902. His son, Charles W. Engelhard Jr. grew the company and befriended politicians such as Lyndon Johnson.
