Physical DescriptionGold cuff bracelet comprised of a band of woven black and gold wire decorated with a medallion with the Ethiopian crest. Solid gold caps at ends.
Historical NoteThis bracelet was a gift to Lady Bird Johnson from His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, Emperor of Ethiopia during Lyndon Johnson's term as Vice-president.

Custodial History NoteThis item was a gift from a foreign official to the President, First Lady or member of the First Family during President Johnson's term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives on January 1969 for deposit with the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum.
