Physical Description
Physical DescriptionStrawberry charm or pendant. Faceted red glass stones arranged in a strawberry design on flat metal backing. Attached loop and ring at the top are metal strawberry leaves also embedded with red glass stones. On the back is a hinged locket door with broken glass front.
Historical NoteThis strawberry pendant was sent to President Johnson by an Australian woman along with an airplane charm and an old letter. The item was received in September 1968.
Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
