Physical DescriptionBrooch. Textured silver disk with "LBJ Ranch" in bold relief script. Relief rim. Safety catch closure on back. Stamped on back: "Sterling", "EBH".
Historical NoteThis silver disk brooch was produced and sent to President Johnson in March 1965 by members of the St. Louis, Missouri business community. It was given by Joseph G. Werner, John F. Krey of Krey Packing Co., and August A. Busch III of Anheuser Busch Inc., all of St. Louis. A steel die to make more was also sent, but is not in LBJ Library collection.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
