Physical Description
Physical DescriptionWristwatch with a black face with gold hands, numerals, and hour marks. Text on face reads: "[LBJ]", "Benrus wrist alarm", "Do unto others as you have them do unto you". Gold-tone case with manufacturer engraving on the back. Black alligator band.
Historical NoteThis Benrus wrist watch is an example of a watch President Johnson would give away as a gift. Known as a “giveaway,” the watch has the Golden Rule inscribed on the watch face.
