Lady Bird talks about a paper ("Wedding List") in front of her. Caption: “Let's Face It, Lyndon, You're Gonna Have a Hard Time Convincing Luci to Have a Small Wedding”. Historical NoteOn August 6, 1966, Luci Johnson married Patrick Nugent at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception with a reception ceremony at the White House. The marriage was televised and highly reported on.
