A smiling globe ("World") watches. A dark cloud ("Fear Mistrust Hatred") goes away. A cat says, “In Maine we’re proud of our close ties~!”. Caption: “Nice to See”. Artist signature lower right: "Vic Runtz news ‘64”.

Historical NoteThe Roosevelt Campobello International Park in New Brunswick opened on August 20, 1964. Mrs. Maryon Pearson and Lady Bird Johnson were in attendance at the official opening.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon B Johnson Presidential Library in 1973.
