Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. A dog (Snoopy from Peanuts) lies contentedly atop a dog house (“Ranch House LBJ”). Artist signature lower center: "Charles M. Schulz”.
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten across the bottom: "To President and Mrs. Johnson with kindest personal regards-".
Historical NoteAfter leaving office in January 1969, Lyndon Johnson went to his ranch in Texas.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon B Johnson Presidential Library in 1973.
