Physical DescriptionPhysical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ lays in a hospital bed surrounded by attentive nursing staff. LBJ thinks, "I've been sick before -- and, once again with the help of "Him" and Lady Bird and the girls and all of the nice people and the good Lord -- I'll be up an' at 'em again soon!!!". The nurses say: "A few pecans from the folks at the Ranch, Mr. Johnson.", "Southern Comfort, sir?", We love you Mr. Johnson -- Just like you love your country.", "A get well card from your old students at Cotulla!", "Here's a slice of home made bread and a few of your favorite Mexican dishes, Mr. President", "Ready for your little pink pill?", "Everyone says that our President is such a wonderful man -- and so warm hearted", "Yaw - I yust come over from Sveden, Mr. Yohnson - An' I'm yumping at the shance to give you a Svedish massage!!", "Lynda Bird send in the dominoes for a nice quiet game.", "And - a nice batch of home made cookies from Lucy!!!", "Your favorite record, Mr. Johnson - before your afternoon nap."
