Physical DescriptionVermeil gold cuff links (A-B) with bas-relief presidential seal and swivel bar back. Manufacturer's mark on back.
Historical NoteThese Presidential Seal cufflinks were one of President Johnson’s “giveaway” items. When he became President, Johnson ordered a variety of objects to present to visitors and special quests. He kept a selection of appropriate gifts in a special “giveaway” drawer in his desk in the Oval Office.
