Physical DescriptionGold-filled textured tie bar with attached bas-relief presidential seal centered. Alligator clip back.
Historical NoteThis Presidential Seal tie bar was one of President Johnson’s “giveaway” items. When he became President, Johnson ordered a variety of objects to present to visitors and special quests. He kept a selection of appropriate gifts in a special “giveaway” drawer in his desk in the Oval Office.
