Physical DescriptionGold-tone tie tack, twin engine airplane shape. Post and clip stud.
Historical NoteThis airplane tie tack was one of President Johnson’s “giveaway” items. When he became President, Johnson ordered a variety of objects to present to visitors and special quests. He kept a selection of appropriate gifts in a special “giveaway” drawer in his desk in the Oval Office.
