Physical DescriptionGold chiffon sleeveless evening gown with glass bead trim down the side and around the neck and hem. Side zipper.
Historical NoteAdele Simpson designed this evening gown, which Lady Bird Johnson wore to several official occasions, including Head of State dinners for Thailand (June 27, 19670), Japan (November 14, 1967) and Paraguay (March 20, 2968), and a Democratic fund-raiser on October 7, 1967.
