John Nance Garner

United States, 1868 - 1967
Garner was a democratic politician in Texas and served as speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives for two years before becoming vice president with Franklin Roosevelt from 1933-41. He was also a member of the Texas House of Representatives early in his political career.
