Lou Darvas worked periodically as a cartoonist for the Cleveland Press from 1928 to 1972. Darvas was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Sports Media Association of Cleveland in 1986, and awarded Best Sports Cartoon by the National Cartoonist Society in 1964 and 1968.
