Juanita D. Roberts

United States, 1913 - 1983
Colonel Juanita Roberts, also known as Mary Juanita Duggan Roberts, (b. April 7, 1913, Port Arthur, Texas-d. May 26, 1983, Atlanta, Georgia), served as one of the first officers of the Women's Army Corps. She later served as chief personal secretary to President Lyndon B. Johnson. She was one of the key organizers of the Johnson Presidential Library at the University of Texas, and later served on the Library's board of directors.
