Democratic National Committee

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is the governing body of the United States Democratic Party. It is comprised of the chairs and vice chairs of each state’s Democratic Party in addition to other party activists from around the country. The committee participates in shaping the party’s policy platform and provides leadership on campaigns, other political activity, and fundraising for local, state and national Democratic candidates.
