The LBJ Library and Museum Artifact Collection
The museum collection of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum contains more than fifty-five thousand objects given to President Lyndon B. Johnson and his family during the years of his administration and to the Lyndon B. Johnson Museum subsequent to his administration up to present day. There are many different types of artifacts, including gifts to President and Mrs. Johnson from foreign heads of state and the general public, political and personal memorabilia, White House artifacts, and other works related to the American Presidency, Texas history, and the Civil Rights movement.
