Physical DescriptionPewter medal with a dove surrounded by the flags of the United States, the Philippines, South Korea, South Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand. Labeled across the top: “Manila Summit Conference”. Labeled at lower center: “1966” “7 Nations”.
Historical NoteOn October 24-26, 1966, Filipino President Ferdinand Marcos held the 7-Nation Conference in Manila with leaders from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, South Korea, and South Vietnam.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
