Physical DescriptionPostcard-sized (part A) and postage stamp-size (part B) die proofs for one of a series of 6 space themed stamps issued by the Togolese Republic in 1964. Design is two blue sattelites and green planet against a yellow/white sun and green in the backgroud. Printed "Republique Togolaise / 1964-65 I.Q.S.Y / .45F Postes."
Inscriptions and MarkingsPart B is stamped "52827 * 29-9-64" and encircled "52"

Custodial History NoteThis item was a gift from a foreign official to President Lyndon B. Johnson during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives on January 1969 for deposit with the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum.
