Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten on white mat across the bottom: "To President Johnson - Freedom fighter for a better world. With admiration and friendship”. Stamped: “Sterling 950”.
Historical NoteAustralian Prime Minister Harold Holt left this photograph for Lyndon Johnson at the Blair House after an official White House visit.

Custodial History Note This item was a gift from a foreign official to President Lyndon B. Johnson during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives on January 1969 for deposit with the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum.
