Physical DescriptionPhotographic portrait of President Chung Hee Park of Korea. Color. Enclosed in (B) metal frame finished with metallic lacquer and engraved with seal upper center and a bird at upper right and upper left corners. Green plush back.
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten on white mat across the bottom: "To: His Excellency Lyndon B. Johnson, President of the United States of America. Seoul, January 2, 1966". Handwritten on photograph: [Korean].
Historical NoteSouth Korean Prime Minister Chang gave this photograph of President Chung Hee Park to Hubert Humphrey when Humphrey visited Korean Demilitarized Zone in January 1966.

Custodial History NoteThis item was a gift from a foreign official to President Lyndon B. Johnson during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives on January 1969 for deposit with the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum.
