Physical DescriptionPhysical DescriptionOfficial United States Savings Stamp Album. A half-fold then tri-fold sheet for collecting U.S. savings stamps. Cream-colored paper with blue printing. Five red 10c "United States Savings Stamps" adhered to the sheet.
Historical NoteSince 1910 the US government has made available savings bonds for purchase, first through the United States Post Office and later via the US Treasury Dept. This booklet and these stamps were used from 1954-1957.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
