Historical NoteThis item was a gift to Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson from Dr. Louise Yim, the President of Chung-Aug University, in Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Yim was in charge of the school since 1933 and saw it converted into a university in 1953. She was also the first female minister in South Korea, as the Minister of Commerce and Industry.Additional Details
