Physical Description
Physical DescriptionCuff bracelet in open goldwork; hinged in back. Each of rwo flared panels emanating from the center hinge set with a buff-top emerald set in gold and ringed with 12 brilliant-cut diamonds. 4 oval clusters of 13 diamonds each on the rest of the band. Edge trimmed with alternating cabochon rubies and sapphires. Chain guard with emerald-topped stickpin secures the closure.
Historical NoteThis bracelet was given to the Johnson family by His Majesty Hassan II, King of Morocco on February 9, 1967, during a state visit to Washington, D.C.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Daughter Lynda Johnson Robb during the Johnson Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives on January 20, 1969 for deposit with the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum.
