Physical DescriptionBracelet consisting of 18 links intertwined in a chain pattern with three lapis cabochons set on each loop; 1 on top of loop and 1 on either side. A twisted gold wire surrounds each lapiz forming a rosette. One lapiz cabochon on the clasp.
Historical NoteThis bracelet was given to the Johnson family by His Excellency Giuseppe Saragat, President of the Italian Republic via the Italian Embassy. Bulgari is a famous Italian luxury jewelry brand headquartered in Rome.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Daughter Lynda Johnson Robb during the Johnson Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives on January 20, 1969 for deposit with the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum.
