Physical DescriptionSilver and Turquoise Collar Clips. A pair of silver pins with turquoise centers, joined by two fine chains. One pin (A) is a stylized bird with outstretched wings. The other pin (B) is a bird-man frontal view. Hinged pin with safety catch on both. One is stamped "Sterling."
Historical NoteThese silver and turquoise collar clips were given to Lady Bird Johnson during her trip to Arizona in February 1969. An admirer handed the gift to her while walking in a crowd.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
