Physical DescriptionEarrings. Stylized silver bird dangles with mounted cabachon polished turquoise. Incised details on bird. Hangs from half ball on screw back. Stamped "sterling."
Historical NoteThis pair of silver and turquoise bird earrings were sent to Lady Bird Johnson by a North Carolina constituent.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
