Historical NoteThis ashtray is part of as set given to Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson from Norman Brookes, an Australian tennis player, and his wife Mabel in 1965. They were gifted through Edward A. Clark, the American ambassador to Australia. Onyx is found in Australia.
