Physical DescriptionPhysical DescriptionFirst Day Cancellation of a Space Treaty Stamp Souvenir Sheet. Text of the Space Treaty is printed overall on top of muted drawings of space flight vehicles. A 10c First Man on Moon stamp and 6c Apollo 8 stamp are adhered at the top right and postmarked twice: Moon Landing - July 20, 1959, and Washington D.C. - Sept 9, 1969. Caption reads: "Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts, the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space".
