Physical DescriptionLapel pin. Slightly furled Texas flag. Red/white/blue enamel on gold metal. Post and clip stud.
Historical NoteThis Texas flag pin was sent to President Johnson in February 1971 by U.S. Representative J.J. Pickle. Pickle was the representative for the Texas 10th congressional district spanning from parts of Austin to areas of eastern Houston.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
