Physical DescriptionRing. Oval polished green jade in openwork gold setting. Setting has textured straight elements and plain curved elements. Stamped "525".
Historical NoteThis jade ring is part of a ring and pendant set given to Lady Bird Johnson by a Dallas constituent. It was given in December 1963, just a month after the assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas.
Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
