Physical DescriptionPresidential seal ring. A heavy plain gold ring with bas-relief presidential seal. Engraved inside in script: "Lyndon Baines Johnson".
Inscriptions and MarkingsStamped inside: "John Roberts Austin Texas 14K".
Historical NoteThis Presidential Seal ring was manufactured by the John Roberts Co., of Austin, Texas and sent to President Johnson by a constituent for Christmas 1967.
Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
