Large printed red rectangle contains sender information: "Bank of Arts Philitelic Crusaders for Peace", "Sponsored by: Constantin St. Tsirimonis". Six UAR (United Arab Republic) stamps adhered at top: 4M UAR, 10M Eagle, 35M Save Abu Simbel, 5M UAR, 10M UNESCO, 1M UAR stamps. Postmark is indecipherable.
Historical NoteThis commemorative postcard with messages of peace from the United Arab Republic (Egypt) was mailed to President Johnson at the White House. The postmark is indistinguishable. Six stamps are affixed to the postcard.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
