Text on cover: "Souvenir of my visit to the international exhibit on the United Nations at the New York World's Fair". Stamp adhered at upper right: 5c United Nations stamp. Postmarked at: United Nations, New York - Jul 1, 1964.
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten at upper left: "Johnny Carson", "Dear Mr. President...".
Historical NoteThis souvenir postcard was sent from the United Nations exhibit at the New York World’s Fair. A 5c United Nations stamp is postmarked July 1, 1964. This postcard was mailed to President Johnson at the White House from entertainer Johnny Carson.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
