Physical DescriptionCartoon from the September 24, 1890 Puck magazine. Two men (“Brice” and “Flower”) wearing nightshirts are awakened by a fallen cannonball ("Returns from Maine"). Historical NoteRoswell Pettibone Flower was a Democrat and New York member of the House of Representatives from 1889-1891. Calvin S. Brice was the chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 1889-1892 and in 1890 became an Ohio Senator.
