Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. A man (identifiable as John Nance Garner) has a cigar in his mouth. Artist signature lower right: "C. K. Berryman”.
Historical NoteJohn Nance Garner was the vice-president under Franklin D. Roosevelt, serving from 1933-1941. He was a Democrat from Texas.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
