Lincoln poits the way forward. The U.S. Capitol is in the background. Caption reads: "The Road to Equal Rights". Artist signature lower right: "Hungerford".
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten across bottom: " August 7 1965 Best wishes to President Lyndon B. Johnson From Cy Pittsburgh Post-Gazette". First draft of the drawing is on the back.
