Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ drives car, with a very wide front axle, down the middle of a road ("middle of road course"). Two annoyed drivers are stuck behind him. Caption reads: "The Johnson Model". Artist signature lower right: "Ferman Martin".
Historical NoteWhen this cartoon was made, Senator Lyndon Johnson was the Senate Majority Leader.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
