Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. In the middle of a large room, a huge bomb sits in the middle of a table where several men are seated ("Geneva Disarmament Conference"). One of the men stands to speak. Caption reads: "Mr. Chairman: I Move We Be Ashamed of Ourselves!". Artist signature lower right: "Crawford NEA"
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten at lower right: "- for President Johnson with my best wishes, Bill Crawford". Handwritten at lower center: "389" "601".
Historical NoteThe Soviet Union, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, China, North Korea, South Korea, and the Viet Minh met at the 1954 Geneva Conference to negotiate the end of the First Indochina War and the Korean War.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
