Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ and a man (identifiable as Nikita Khrushchev "N.K.") use blacksmith tools to connect two large links ("Test Ban", "Nuclear Cut-back"). A large figure ("The Bomb") with a shackle on his leg looms in the background. Caption reads: "Forging Another Link". Artist signature lower left: "Gib Crockett The Washington Star".

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
