Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ sleeps in a bed. A portrait of a man (identifiable as Abraham Lincoln) hangs on the wall. With her hands clasped, Lady Bird stands with Lynda watching him. A small piece of paper “Berry’s World” adhered to upper left. Caption: “He Looks So 'Cunning' When He's Asleep--And 'Resourceful' Too!”. Artist signature lower right: "Jim Berry 6-15-67”.
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten across the bottom: [blue] “For President Johnson: With my very best wishes - Jim”.
Historical NoteLady Bird was heavily involved as First Lady. She promoted the Highway Beautification Act and other beautification initiatives around the country, and Lyndon Johnson supported these projects.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon B Johnson Presidential Library in 1973.
