Frame 1: “Following a White House visit, Lynda Bird’s prospective father-in-law announced his partial defection from the G.O.P. ‘I guess I’m a Republicrat now,’ he said. Talk of brainwashing is discounted. News Report”. Frame 2: LBJ shakes hands with a man (identifiable as James Spittal Robb). Additional text across the bottom: “A few more months exposure may even make him a Demolican!”. Frame 3: An elephant with donkey ears (“Conserveral”) and a donkey with elephant ears (“Liberative”) are next to each other. Additional text across the top: “Come let us reason together”. Frame 4: A man (identifiable as Charles de Gaulle) appears dressed as a king and in a suit. De Gaulle with a suit says, “Free Quebec!”.
