Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. Two bears (identifiable as LBJ and Harold Wilson) discover their slept-in beds ("$” and “£"). A man (identifiable as Charles de Gaulle) ("DeGoldilocks") with gold curls (“14K”) looks away. A small piece of paper “1968, The Register and Tribune Syndicate” adhered to lower right. Caption: “Someone's Been Sleeping in My Bed–”. Artist signature lower right: "Wallmeyer Independent, Press-Telegram”.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon B Johnson Presidential Library in 1973.
