LBJ sits at the head of a table with a lot of food ("Great Society Liberal Legislation") and many guests ("Intellectual and Academic Community") seated around it. One guest speaks to another guest. Caption: “Sure, the Food's Great--I Just Hate His Guts!”. Additional text at lower center: “Detroit News ‘66”. Artist signature lower right: "Poinier”.
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten at lower center: “To President Johnson with sincere good wishes Art Poinier”.
