Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. Three people (LBJ, Lady Bird, and a young woman) are standing under a gate that reads "LBJ Ranch". Lady Bird holds a small beagle and LBJ is petting beagle "Him". Artist signature lower right: "C. Jones".
Historical NotePresident Johnson’s best known beagles were named Him and Her.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
