Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. Two men ("Adlai" and a man identifiable as Estes Kefauver) look back at a horse-shaped cloud of smoke ("Lyndon Johnson") rising from the horizon ("Texas Democratic Precinct Conventions"). Caption reads: "Do You See It Too, Estes?". Artist signature lower left: "Gib Crockett Washington Star."
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten at lower left: "3 Cols - tues May 8".
Historical NoteDuring the 1956 election cycle, Dwight Eisenhower ran against Democrat Adlai Stevenson. Senator Lyndon Johnson was the Senate Majority Leader.
